Our Christmas celebration began on the Eve. We went to Nanny & Pa's to see everyone . Silly me, we took the gifts that Nanny & Pa bought for the boys and Mykenzie's gifts. I never even thought about the loot we'd be bringing home. (you'll see it included in the Christmas tree/gift photo below- I like to put everything together to remind us how blessed we are) We purchased (for Nanny & Pa) two (Thomas) train sets for Cade and some sort of age appropriate car raceway for Nathaniel. Once the family cleared out we stayed a little longer and put the tracks together. Cade was hesitant at first, but he is head strong and was very tired. (the two don't mix) After he got all the trains on the track he was so excited! So was Pa. I won't lie, it was pretty fun to watch.

Joe & I had hoped the night had been so eventful that the boys would fall alseep on the way home. We were wrong. Though we had sandwiches at the Angles, we decided on Chinese (on the other side of town), a little driving is the best medicine for sleepy children. Except on Christmas Eve apparently. We got home and it took FOR-EVER for Cade to fall asleep. Santa & the Mrs. were exhausted by the time the few toys that needed assembled that night got finished. Cade of course got another train set for home. Nathaniel got a barn and a piano!!!
ok. it's just a busy table. but I loved it. loved it. loved it. of course.

Christmas 2011
Breakfast at the Sullivan's!!!! I know you'll never guess what Cade got. Ok, I'll tell ya, it was a train set. Why yes, he has a train set everywhere he goes. Nathaniel slept through gifts, but he got lots of cool stuff. We got to have a wonderful breakfast. Grandma, Nathaniel & I ran out to church for a moment. PaPaw Asbury met us there for lunch.

Funny side note: Cade was falling asleep at the table.
He got moved to a chair and shortly after Nathaniel fell asleep too.
