Just a Little Catch Up

Oh what a week it has been! This past weekend was long and not in a good way. We got to visit with Aunt Ann and Uncle Jim, which was great! Except we got a virus and had to miss them on their second day of visiting.
Besides that life is crazy here, you know crazy like there is a two year old running around singing and playing while an eight month old is "screaming" with laughter and imitating the other. Life is interesting and only going to get more so. We love it.

With Cade running around and taking over sometimes its hard for Nathaniel to learn anything on his own. We attempted to put him in the play pen to do his own thing. We took the toys out, but Cade kept piling more stuff in- Nathaniel decided to play with the spatula.

Obviously, the most fun thing in the toy bin.

We started the day at church.
This morning we attended Elmwood Baptist to see Chase (Beth's son) get baptized.
We had three pews filled!

Afterwards we went to the Sullivans' for lunch.
Since I had my camera for the baptism Cade decided it was time for "cheese."

Have you ever taken a hiatus, not like a blog hiatus, but like a recharging your batteries hiatus. And when I saw recharging batteries I'm being very literal, not like I've been recharging my batteries, like relaxing or something. Sometimes I just don't charge my batteries like I use to, you know for my camera. I've been using the little one here and there, but that one just doesn't cut it and now it needs charged too. And with no batteries, that means no camera, which means no cute pics to share of my kiddos. AND trust me, these kids are ca-yute!

Nathaniel is working on some teeth, they're no shows so far.
Cade is working on English, you know the speaking kind.
Nathaniel is drooling, a lot.
Cade is chatting, a lot.
Nathaniel is observant and peering at everything.
Cade is nosy and into everything.
Nathaniel learning to move around, but still mostly stationary.
Cade never sits still, unless Thomas or Chuggington is on, then give him five minutes.
