This is going to be one heck of post, very bipolar as well. I almost couldn't help but laugh when I opened the photo folder, March2012, to see what needed shared. We'll go from snow to jumping in puddles within six days!
We finally got a real snow, not real real one, but good enough. Unfortunately every time it even flurried I had to work. So these photos are the ones I took as I let him play for the few minutes on the way to Grandma's before I went to work.

He absolutely would not put his trains down.

Eventually his trains ran through the snow...

As usual Cade's hair has been out of control. So I decided to cut it. I watched a few 'toddler hair cutting' videos on YouTube (they didn't help), laid out a towel, put a movie on and bribed him with M&M's. He was doing so well, we went to the kitchen for me to use the clippers and take a bit more off the back. Then it didn't go so well. He jumped and I took out a very noticeable chunk of hair. What happens then? You gotta shave it all. Convincing myself it looks and feels better the whole time I was holding him between my legs while he was screaming. I never convinced myself and now can't wait for it to grow out (especially looking at those super cute pics from the snow).

He couldn't stop touching it!
He kept saying, "Where did it go?" then would reply to himself, "in the trash."
Then mostly if anyone asked where his hair went, he told them the Mommy put it in the trash.

Last week we took a two day 'stay'cation. VeggieTales was coming to Ashland! WE LOVE VEGGIETALES!!! We drove down early in the day to walk around the mall and have a nice lunch. Knowing the kids would NEED a nap before the show, I let them play around the mall play place for a while. When I say "them" I mean Cade. Nathaniel didn't make it far, plus there was one kid that was out of control and I was only hoping he wouldn't rub off on Cade. Cade loved every minute of it. Its funny how kids have no inhibitions, it didn't matter how they were, whether they had trouble talking, boy or girl- they played- together.

The kids napped in the truck while we waited for the doors to open to the theater. We went in a little early hoping to see Bob and Larry. Unfortunately that costs extra, and that was after the show. We would have gone, but we didn't actually stay for the whole show. By intermission Cade was getting a little bored. Don't get me wrong he was in awe of everything from the characters to the lights and music. But really an almost three year old sitting still, while music is playing, and your favorite characters are there- not going to happen. He acted up a little and when I did the old, "Do you wanna go home?" threat and his reply was yes, we knew it was time to go. Plus he was really hoping for one certain song that they hadn't sung yet, and we had no way of knowing whether they were going to sing it or not. So we left. Happy. Content. Thankful.

Less than a week after it snowed it was 70 degrees. We took advantage of it. My cousin gave us a tricycle that you can help push the toddler in, sounds fabulous. Yeah, I lost my patience. You see Cade has had a huge aversion to riding on or in things. He just recently started riding a train, in the house that Nanny Ruth bought him for his first Christmas. So putting him on a tricycle with no steering experience was no fun for me. He did eventually try, but its gonna take some practice, closer to the house, not on a walk.

Daddy helped him a little more.
I was happy to stand back and photograph.

Of course, it eventually turned into walking.

I don't know what this little kids problem was, but I took a picture, cause that's what I do.

Once we made it back to the house we walked to the end of the street where Cade found a little puddle...

He then of course found a bigger one...

We bribed him out of the puddle and back toward the house with bubbles.
They both loved them!

Cade found one more little puddle before we went in...
