Quick Pic

Dropped the kids off at Beth's this morning. Im sure they'll have a great time, but she's going to be one worn out hen with for chicks at her nest. Can't wait to hear all the funnies of all the boys together.

One Week

I know you're tired of excuses, but I have been trying to post this blog for a week now! So without further adieu...

Father's Day
Hilariously both the fathers in my life got shoes for father's day. Men that want shoes, funny to me, that's want I want :) Of course its not like they wanted them, but they did. Daddy got some fun sandals (taking out trash, running to get breakfast & before playing golf) and Grandpa got some house shoes.

We missed Unc & Auntie. They were with her father, here:

What else happened on Father's Day?
Grandma got a flat tire.

Someone was SOOOOOOOO excited to help.
I can only imagine he was thinking about Guido & Luigi from Cars.

On to Thursday.
John began working with Joe this week. I knew John, Melissa & Alyson were planning on visiting Grandpa with the rest of us on Thursday. I offered Melissa to hang out at our house and get out of her apartment, maybe even get a break. I'm not sure she actually got a "break" but I think she had a good time.

Great Grandpa and all his babies:

One more photo.
I went to wash dishes the other day and came back to this.
Aren't they the sweetest :)

Two Weeks. One Post. Lots of Babies. Lots of Photos.

Finally!!! Internet!!! Finally!!! A moment to type!!!
I may have a moment or two, but I don't have the patience for blogger and their horrible uploading formats. Therefore this post will be backwards. We are going to work our way from yesterday back to two weeks ago. TWO WEEKS AGO!!??!! (sorry people, I'll try to do better)

This week I officially started back to work. (I know too early) Full time. (yes, I'm crazy) It wasn't too bad until Wednesday, my day off, and someone called in, leaving me to fill in. I was getting a worn out by my last (4 hour) shift yesterday. But I'm grateful that I'm healthy enough to return. With the extra shift and an already not pleasing schedule it made for a long week. Especially since 4/6 shifts were evenings and one of the remaining two was Saturday.

Thursday we got the text that Melissa's (John's wife) had gone into labor. My excitement was through the roof! Baby Alyson was coming!!!! Babies are such a blessing and I think sometimes it takes someone else's to remind us. After work we took Nathaniel (Cade stayed at Grandma & Grandpa's to nap) to visit. She didn't have long to go and we still were on our way to visit PaPaw Asbury. A short time after we left she arrived. The kids and I attempted to visit on Friday before work but the Baby Guards wouldn't let us in, something about no kids or babies, blah blah blah. Me=Not Happy
FINALLY Saturday after work Joe and I were able to take the kids to visit. Cade just wanted to run the halls and after the chaos of moving rooms we got to settle in and have a real visit. Alyson was 19 inches and 6 pounds. Cade finally settled after Joe and John walked him to the soda machine and he found some cereal to eat (and play with Unc) Of course, photos to follow...

Last weekend we got a wonderful visit from Aunt Ann and Uncle Jim. Cade loved every minute of it! He had tons of fun playing and showing off. Cade was an Aunt Ann hog, so the rest of us barely got to visit. We all had a great time, but we always do when we get to visit with our loved ones.

Aren't the the cutest???

Love them:

Last weekend was Hillary's birthday. After a dinner out we decided to hit the park. That didn't last long at all. It was H-O-T! I snapped a few sweaty photos (that for some reason didn't all load, so you'll just get to see three) And we ran for air conditioning.

This is in the truck after the park, yes park no pool. That's how much he sweat!

Nat after the park,
he stayed in the shade w/Michael Gore

A few photos from two weeks ago.
Our usual Sunday.
The best day of the week.

Three Weeks Old

Three Weeks Old

Who me? Three weeks old? No way!!!

Kisses from the big brother....

Trains Anyone?

Out of ten photos...
this was the good one
It cracks me up!

My sweet Sarah is getting married in a little over a month. Today we showered her with all the things to help start a marriage and home. Of course this meant we got to visit with family again. Why do we wait so long to visit? I love these people, yet am "too busy" to visit often. That's sad. Fortunately between to showers and one holiday Aunt Mary has got to shower Nathaniel with all kinds of sweet lovins'.

FYI
Nathaniel's threes:

Visits w/Aunt Mary
Doctor Visits
Packages of diapers used
Visits to Rio Grande
Nails Clipped

That's a lot for a three week old.

Nathaniel's Two Week Check Up

Nathaniel and I were in the living room the other morning and this little kid came running in:

I swear he went to bed a toddler and woke up a big kid. What's up with that? His looks changed over night! He has a new cheesey grin. I can't even begin to tell you how many photos we have of his eyes mostly closed and the widest grin.

Tummy Time!!!

As you can see below, someone doesn't quite love tummy time. In fact he gets more exercise by hating it, he moves his head more and gets those neck muscles moving!

Although it doesn't take long to get tuckered out...

Today we visited the physician for a two week follow up. Nathaniel was up to 8 pounds, 8 ounces. To left was his six day check up to the right is today. Amazing how much difference 6 ounces makes. Everything checks out great!
