Two Weeks. One Post. Lots of Babies. Lots of Photos.

Finally!!! Internet!!! Finally!!! A moment to type!!!
I may have a moment or two, but I don't have the patience for blogger and their horrible uploading formats. Therefore this post will be backwards. We are going to work our way from yesterday back to two weeks ago. TWO WEEKS AGO!!??!! (sorry people, I'll try to do better)

This week I officially started back to work. (I know too early) Full time. (yes, I'm crazy) It wasn't too bad until Wednesday, my day off, and someone called in, leaving me to fill in. I was getting a worn out by my last (4 hour) shift yesterday. But I'm grateful that I'm healthy enough to return. With the extra shift and an already not pleasing schedule it made for a long week. Especially since 4/6 shifts were evenings and one of the remaining two was Saturday.

Thursday we got the text that Melissa's (John's wife) had gone into labor. My excitement was through the roof! Baby Alyson was coming!!!! Babies are such a blessing and I think sometimes it takes someone else's to remind us. After work we took Nathaniel (Cade stayed at Grandma & Grandpa's to nap) to visit. She didn't have long to go and we still were on our way to visit PaPaw Asbury. A short time after we left she arrived. The kids and I attempted to visit on Friday before work but the Baby Guards wouldn't let us in, something about no kids or babies, blah blah blah. Me=Not Happy
FINALLY Saturday after work Joe and I were able to take the kids to visit. Cade just wanted to run the halls and after the chaos of moving rooms we got to settle in and have a real visit. Alyson was 19 inches and 6 pounds. Cade finally settled after Joe and John walked him to the soda machine and he found some cereal to eat (and play with Unc) Of course, photos to follow...

Last weekend we got a wonderful visit from Aunt Ann and Uncle Jim. Cade loved every minute of it! He had tons of fun playing and showing off. Cade was an Aunt Ann hog, so the rest of us barely got to visit. We all had a great time, but we always do when we get to visit with our loved ones.

Aren't the the cutest???

Love them:

Last weekend was Hillary's birthday. After a dinner out we decided to hit the park. That didn't last long at all. It was H-O-T! I snapped a few sweaty photos (that for some reason didn't all load, so you'll just get to see three) And we ran for air conditioning.

This is in the truck after the park, yes park no pool. That's how much he sweat!

Nat after the park,
he stayed in the shade w/Michael Gore

A few photos from two weeks ago.
Our usual Sunday.
The best day of the week.
