Sweet Smiles

Apparently I had a few "Quick Pics" that didn't post. Well forget those! I had super fabulous Aunt Kristi bring her camera to 'grandpa night' and snap a few of the kids. Usually I use Sarah Jane for official photos, but our schedules haven't meshed yet, you know, getting married and all. Now that Nathaniel is two months old and full of smiles its time for photos!!!!

Check out my awesomely cute boys. Cade is a cheese ball and Nathaniel's sweet smiles.

(The pic above is one of my favorites.
He's just soooo happy and you can see it all over his face.
AND me I can almost here is sing song chatter
as he cuddles his trucks and trains :)

Mash Up

Here's a few photos from the last week ( or more )

I find it nice when I come home and this is in my yard.
I see them all the time, but there is still something awe inspiring when you get near one.

Nathaniel & Alyson

Unc & Cade

Sometimes Cade has a rash on his booty.
I decided I wanted to give his butt a diaper break and got some training undies (how cute)
We got home and I immediately put them on him after a much needed diaper change, if you get my drift. Hoping that meant I was safe from a mudslide.
hope is not enough
Minutes!!!!
Minutes, I tell ya!!!

----take two----
no luck
I went in with no hopes, therefore, no disappointments.
We'll try again soon.

Two Month Check Up

Nathaniel had a great check up today. He's 22.5 inches long and weighs 11lbs & 9oz
The doctor said everything looked great.
We couldn't be more happy...

One more pic, I couldn't resist.
Hillary finally got her dream car. We were visiting PaPaw Asbury when she came by to share her excitement. Cade, well, he was enjoying a little freedom...

Here are a few photos from Justin & Sarah's wedding.
I may post more when I see more.
I may post more about how crazy he was,
but for now, just bask in his (and London's) cuteness

A Day

I thought I'd try to do another, "Day in the Life." Bare with me...

This photo is time stamped 4:45 AM.
As you can see he has a milk stream coming from his mouth.
Finished eating and back to napping.
I say napping, cause once back to bed- he didn't sleep.

Morning snuggles from Daddy to Sweet Pea.

Time to eat again...

Napping. Again.

Cade took Daddy out to get biscuits.
(Notice the Father's Day shoes. I mentioned they were for trash taking out and going to golf course, but they're also for breakfast getting)

Back with biscuits, yummy.

I did not photograph the events that took place in between.
It was a lot of drama.
It could have been traumatizing for you.
Daddy got a hair cut and so did Cade.
lot.of.crying.
Then on to the showers to get the hair off.
lots.of.crying.

Before and After Pics
There's a difference, I promise, no rooster tail in the back.

Everyone dressed and headed out for the day.
The agenda:
Boots for Cade
Formula for Nat
Shorts for Daddy

Powder Gold Aquired

A quick bite to eat.
Cade thinks its running away, he has to shove it all in his mouth at once...

Time for boots.
W.O.W.
Cade ran through the store like a wild man,
UNTIL
I put boots on him.
Then he acted like it was death.

I tried to tell him he looked like Woody from Toy Story,
he wasn't buying it.

Sarah's wedding is next Saturday.
Its very country cute.
We got some boots for Cade to wear with his tux.
(After seeing the cost to rent his shoes, this was easily an equal alternative)

It is my belief that boys are born with a natural instinct to make gun noises.
He was seriously making proper noises, he's never seen a gun movie!
Boys.
What's with them?

I'm planning on his wearing them
EVERYDAY
until next Saturday.
He WILL love them,
cause I said so.

I decided I would attempt to make cake balls for a fourth party we are going to tomorrow.
I needed chocolate.
Unfortunately chocolate is sold where Chuggingtons are sold.
we have all the ones there, except the big ones
we don't need more
Cade wasn't buying that either.
Tantrum:
What was that about best two year old ever?
(I pretended I didn't know him)

he was soon distracted by stickers MUCH CHEAPER

Target:

We ended up skipping pants for Daddy on the list.
Home for us.
Play time:

Not much "excitement" but plenty of fun.
Hardly a dull moment with us.
We love every minute of it.
