What a Week!!!

We started out the week having birthday lunch with (who Cade now calls) Old PopPop. He's such a blessing. We love celebrating him.

Then of course came Thanksgiving. At least thirty-five people made their way to Aunt Mary & Uncle Bills. I love Thanksgiving, I love catching up with everyone and see all the smiling faces. Noah brought Cade some trains. So their dinner consisted of trains too.

How bout a quick photo op. These boys are fabulous. I couldn't love them any more than I do.

Yesterday we stopped by the train show. Looks to me like about ten different families/people put up their model trains for everyone to enjoy. And enjoy we did. Nathaniel could almost see everything, by next year he should be able to walk around and see them better. As tall as Cade is he still asked to be picked up to get a better look.

After that we headed to Ashland to see their lights. The boys loved them!!!! Cade was so excited, "wow, look at that one! Oooooh, Mommy look there."

It's been a wonderful four days off, I love not working retail. Two years of it made me appreciate every weekend and holiday. I can't imagine those people that have been doing it their whole career. These boys keep us hopping and it's great to spend quality uninterrupted time with them.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Last weekend we headed to the mall to see a movie. Instead we saw Santa Claus. Cade has cried in every photo or we haven't even gotten one. But we saw him and there was no line, so Cade just jumped right in, with some hesitation, and kept repeating, "Broken Bridge." That is something that Thomas the train related and Santa already has it in layaway. Santa was able to get him on his lap and the photographer was able to get him to smile. We were amazed. Now Cade keeps telling us we have to take Nathaniel.

Autumn!!!!

These photos are from a few weeks back. The kids were crazy and the house felt too small so we headed to the park. The kids needed warn out and a good place to run. They had a great time running and "splashing" in the leaves as Cade called it.

Eighteen Months

Can you believe it? Nathaniel's eighteen months old!!!! That of course means time for photos!!! I love pictures of my babies, they'll go so great in my NEW office (more on that later).
Nathaniel is the best baby ever. He has a few allergies and can get pretty snotty, but that doesn't keep him down. He runs and dances all the time. If his big brother takes a toy from him, if finds another or fights back and scares the day lights out of Cade (quality entertainment at our house). He is a little attached to his pacifier, but hey, he won't have it forever. He laughs at Cade and mimics him, just last night Cade told me he wanted a chicken nugget, repeated by Nathaniel. He's quite the little mocking bird.
He's great and we couldn't be more blessed. We went to the park Saturday to have Aunt Kristi get some priceless pics. He was all over the place. Nathaniel saw an open field and ran for it. We just let him, it was bare and open and warm. Makes my heart smile.
Here's a few of just Nathaniel, I'll try to do some quick pic updates over the next few days to keep you smiling and remind everyone what we look like.

Happy Halloween!!!

So it's been a loooooooong two weeks. Here's a run down:
Monday-Friday (10/22-10/26): Insurance School
Thursday/Friday: Test drive & purchase new vehicle (yay!!!!)
Saturday: Cade initiated the new car (puke)
Sunday night thru Tuesday: Kids & Mommy tummy virus (seriously? Again? Annoying)
Tuesday: Snow!!!!!!!!
Wednesday & Thursday: Daddy tummy virus and residual kids tummy issues
Thursday: LICENSING EXAM (enough to poop your pants w/o having a tummy virus)
Thursday Night: Trick or Treat

What did I tell ya? Long. Good report, everyone is mostly better and I passed my exam. I was super shocked. I went with every notion of failing. Thinking I would go see what it was like and re-test next week. I'll happily accept my results and go on with my new future.

The kids are great. Even in their sickness they are still happy and fun. We didn't plan to trick or treat but we did head up Nanny & Pa's street just to say hi to a few people.

Nate is chattering more everyday and Cade is proving to me he knows his letters and is practicing writing them on the iPad.

Our life is pretty sweet right now and we are very grateful.
