Crazy Kids

Did I mention how sick everyone has been?
I know I did, but let me reiterate...
daycare cooties- suck, yip that's a technical term.
I have two little boys that have runny noses,
all.the. time.
If they don't have runny noses, then they're coughing, if its not that something else is runny if you know what I mean.
GEEZ!!!
I don't know where this stuff comes from, but it is wearing me out.

They still seem to be in a good mood most of the time, though Nathaniel is not quite as full of himself when he is sick.  If he isn't- watch out! Cade calls him Crazy Baby, and that's a perfect description.  We're planning a hair cut this weekend for that crazy baby, maybe he won't look as insane with manageable hair.  Nathaniel still only has two teeth, we're just waiting.  Joe says soon we'll be taking up donations for baby dentures.  It sure doesn't stop him from eating.  He even eats pork chops.  He loooooves food.  Every morning when I take him to MomMom's he knows first thing is breakfast.  He doesn't mess around, if she doesn't take him straight in there, he demands it, grunting and pointing toward the kitchen.  She's lucky if he's patient enough to chew.  He's all boy too, that's for sure.  He loves his trains and cars.  Things that quiet him down, Mater, Thomas & YoGabbaGabba.

And as for Cade, he is learning TONS in daycare.  The trick is getting him to tell you what he learned.  Occasionally he'll be practicing a song or sign language, but if he knows you're watching, he stops.  Its kind of funny, like he's shy or embarrassed.  His speech has improved a thousand percent and he knows it.   We only have an occasional crying/sad fit when dropping him off at daycare and usually that's if his "favorite" teacher isn't there.  He looooooooooves Ms.Nita.  I love all the little drawings and crafts he brings home.  They always make me smile.

Here's a few photos from this weekend.  Hopefullly the boys will have less snot in the next ones I post.  As for the collage of the boys playing, they do it all the time.  They're three and one and already wrestling.  They love it, even though the pictures may not show it by the looks on the faces.

WHOA! Its Been a While!

Want to know what we've been into???
the sickness

We don't even get better, its just a cycle...
I blame daycare,
ugh.

What else are we into?
laughs,
toys,
trains,
balls,
walking,
running,
never stopping

We had a great Father's Day (even if everyone was kinda sick).

What was Joe's present you may ask, well I bought a baseball glove, for Cade.  A few weeks ago after attending of Joe's softball games Cade asked for one.  So I thought, tho not specifically for him, it really was.  Now we'll prepare ourselves for the next 20 years of youth sports.

Check out the twins...

Why have I waited so long to update you people?
Well, last week we didn't have internet (thank you internet provider- NOT)
Since my last post (the birthday post), apparently I lacked in posting the one year check up post.  Nathaniel measured in at 29 3/4 inches and 22 1/4 pounds.  Pretty perfect.  I had to ask why he was eating so much, when he showed me his growth chart is was a perfect arch, as usual, except his weight was just barely off- its hard to describe, I wonder if Dr. Willis would have let me photograph it, so I could show you.  ANYWAY  he said he may just be in a growth spurt and with that being said- growing takes food, grow more-eat more.  We were also unsure of his drinking habits, they kept changing.. But after a little more time at the visit, we may have gotten the explanation.  Later after some examination he found that Nathaniel actually had an ear infection.  Who Knew??? He never acted like it, sure he was snotty, be he's a kid- they all are.  So now we're finished with antibiotics, just in time, for the afore warned fever from the vaccines.  Dr. Willis said he may have a fever two weeks post vaccines, and he is full force fever and a rash {we might be calling about that tomorrow}

Forward on to Memorial Day and Matt and his new wife had us over to cook out and play in sprinklers.  We had a good time, Nathaniel didn't enjoy the grass or the water so much.  But check out these cuties!!!

It was great to have a three day weekend.  I was finally able to work a four day week and then enjoy another weekend.  Though its only been two years since I worked in an office, it kind of feels like an eternity.  I couldn't help but snap this photo the other night while we were eating supper, Cade was watchin a moving and just eating his pizza.  Though most people may say, "well duh," but it was the manner in which he was doing it.  He looked like he was twelve, holding his own pizza, carrying on a conversation and enjoying some Toy Story.  I love this big guy, he cracks me up and makes my heart smile.

I already mentioned enjoying the next weekend and that we have.  Yesterday MomMom and I had a rummage sale.  If you've ever done that it is t.i.r.i.n.g. to ay the least.  I was kind of over it with in two hours, but fortunately people kept coming and kept me busy.   Eventually I made it home to nap.  Daddy was suppose to have a soft ball game, but decided against.  I really really wanted to go it was so nice outside, but was just so warn out.    I didn't feel guilty for long, Cade had a lot of energy, so we headed outside to blow bubbles of course.  So we blew bubbles, kicked a ball and then caught lightning bugs.  His first lightning bus.  It was so exciting.  He wasn't too scared of them, not at all actually.  He kept accidentally killing them actually.  Nate hung out in his stroller, he still refuses to walk/sit in the grass.  he made his way from me to another chair, but he kept holdin his foot up, he cracks me up.   It was a nice evening all in all.  Nice weather, no arguing, no punishing & good fun.
