Happy Birthday Cade

Easter!!!

We had such a wonderful Easter. Just a few small things in their Easter baskets but big smiles all around. We enjoyed lunch with the Sullivans and Old PopPop. The kids....meaning Cade, hunted Easter eggs in the play room that MomMom hid.

Egg Hunters

We drove back from Columbus on Saturday and stopped by the Asbury's to hunt eggs with the family.
The kids had a great time and so did the adults. We didn't stick around for a long time, it had already been a long day, but every minute we get with family is wonderful.

Good Friday

We had promised Cade we would take him to see the giraffes for his birthday. Unfortunately Columbus Zoo doesn't have giraffes until May, he was ok with this...especially since he was getting to see Aunt Ann.
The zoo was quite busy, apparently a lot more children were out of school than I had expected. We still had a good time nonetheless.
Cade says his favorite animals were the flamingo and the tiger bird (see below). Nathaniel says his favorite was the monkey and it eats bananas. (His words)

























They even got to see the Easter Bunny...and no one cried!!

First Tee Ball Game

Prepare yourself for cuteness!!!!!































I had set this to show on Saturday, but my app isn't letting it load.
It's just about the cutest thing to watch those boys and girls try to hit the ball. Every single one of them run after the ball when it gets hit, no matter where they are standing. Cade was so excited, I don't think I've seen his smile so big. He ran to us in between innings to give us hugs.
