Sunday Snoozin'
Or should I say passed out- look at Nathaniel all opened arms, relaxed - not a care in the world. *sigh*

"payin' with my fwiends"
I have been dying to sneak in on Cade and see him playing. I managed to for thirty seconds yesterday.

Passed out, again
I swear I put him in there to run laundry down stairs and came back to this...

Week One of Daycare

So Monday started day one of daycare for Cade.  Shew! was that an emotional day.  I knew leaving him would be hard, luckily he had no idea what was going on...I was able to make it to the parking lot before I lost it.  Day two, harder still, he knew what was going on and cried, hard.  That day I didn't make it to the vehicle before I lost it and even had to talk to the teacher, crying.  I knew everything was fine and even better for him.  There's still something about it.  Wednesday, I was prepared.  He was crying before we even left the house and cried all the way there.  We skipped Thursday and Friday went wonderfully, though he didn't cry while I was there, I saw him crying as he waved goodbye to me from the window.
He napped every day he was there and oddly the teacher told me he ate everything he was given during the day...that includes stir fry- funny!!!
Next week should be even easier and all will be well.  He's learning lots and making friends.  The last photo is his daily report from Friday and below is a picture he did from his first or second day.

Happy Easter!

Think I was never coming back? Me too!  The computer was at the doctor, again.  Lots going on around here.  I'll go backwards.  Yesterday was Easter.  Great day. We went to our new church then headed to the Sullivans for lunch.  PaPaw was there to share with us.  While the Easter bunny can get away with it, it will continue to fill the baskets with stickers, healthy snacks and a few toys.  Nathaniel has been playing with Cade's Scout Puppy that says his name. So he got his own, that says his name and favorite foods.  Cade, MomMom, Mommy, Daddy have been on the search for a train named Hiro, luckily the Easter Bunny found it just in time.  In other news Cade started daycare today.  He did great, of course.  We decided it was just time for him to be with other kids.  Now the test will be how he acts tomorrow when I drop him off.

I love this photo.  Cade was chasing bubbles around have a good time before church and Nathaniel
was just being himself, happy.

Cutest sad face ever:

Now on to things other than my babies...
Last week was awesome.  I took Thursday, Friday & Saturday off.  On Thursday Beth treated me to a concert.  Alison Krauss and Union Station to be exact.  It was absolutely wonderful to say the least.  Its one thing to listen to the albums or watch the concert on DVD, but in person- WOW.  To just know that someone was playing, picking, singing- not aletered music that was awesome, so cool.

As far as Friday & Saturday goes, we spent most of those days helping Joe's friend Matt with his wedding.  Joe looked so awesome in his tux, made me proud.  Matt never admited who his best man was, "cause they all were," but Joe stood next to him and was there to see Matt had everything taken care of (you know decorations, rings & other man duties on the wedding day.)
