Two Year Check Up

After what feels like one of the longest weeks ever, we've finally went for Cade's two year check up, yes a couple months late (having a baby will definitely throw a wrench in your schedule.)

I'm going to say it, you can hate me later, but I'm proclaiming truth: I have the best two year old! Ever!!!!
let me explain...
Daddy's had a long week, lots of over time. He'd hoped to take off work early, but projects didn't allow. We also had to call in the calgary for child care, Beth and her brew helped yesterday and Aunt Kristi came to the rescue today.
I digress,
As I was making a bank run for work today, I got a flat. Thankfully I was able to get back to the lot with no problems. BUT w/Daddy working over time, Grandma & Grandpa busy AND a toddler's doctor appointment, things were getting a little hectic.

Beth was able to transport me from work to Grandma, where I then took her car and Cade to his appointment. Cade was tolerating all this change with ease, leaving me VERY pleased. I packed plenty of items to occupy Cade while waiting- you never know how long the wait will be.
And today, we needed every item. Cade played with his magna doodle & colored on the table paper...



He played in the funny mirror on the wall...








And drove trains all over the table and floor...




We waited more than an hour, in a small room, in the sun. Cade was awesome.
Leading me to believe Cade is THE BEST TWO YEAR OLD

He weighs 38 3/4 pounds and is 38 3/4 inches tall. (yes, the same) He let the doctor listen to his heart, play with his piggies, and mess with his "junk" only whining when he wanted to look in his ears. He got a clean bill of health and everything is great. He's perfect, but I knew that.


Sure you could've asked me two day ago, after his tux fitting, and I would have told you the exact opposite. But as for today...
He's the cream of the crop!
