December

Apparently I've got a lot to cover according to the pictures I've taken this month. I was going to split them up, but then I thought...why. Hahaha.
So here goes.

Whenever we had that big snow a while ago, Cade was anxious to go play. It was freezing. And raining!!! But he didn't care. All was well with the two of them, until Cade hit Nate in the face with a slush ball. It was pretty much exactly like Bill Cosby tells the story. (If you haven't heard it, look it up...hilarious)

December 14, Cade's Christmas program at school. These kids were hilarious and awesome. It was fun to watch the joy as they sang, but also see some pouty kids. They're all so cute. Cade has been singing christmas songs for two months, it was good to finally hear it appropriately.

Cade & Ms Ashley

How bout some out takes from christmas photos. Or what I like to call, everyday life.

This is Percy, he's our elf on the shelf. It was a tough decision for me to start this tradition. I felt like I didn't want to get into this silliness and doing what everyone else was doing. But didn't want Cade to feel left out if the other kids were talking about it.
Elf on the shelf, we read the book that explains he comes and goes every night back and forth to the North Pole. There he tells Santa if you've been naughty or nice. The internet is filled with silly things the elf does. We didn't make Percy too silly or naughty, he did go from room to room, one night he made the cookies Cade had been asking for and one night we found him with Buzz and Woody.

Brothers that like to snuggle are my favorite.

Last week we did an impromptu photo shoot of Nanny & Pa's grand babies.
Here you'll see we were patiently waiting to eat some Mexican. Mykenzie was nice enough to let Cade play with her hair.

Christmas Eve with the Angles. The boys of course got trains and cars. They even got scooters!!! Exciting stuff. We ate pizza and enjoyed being together.

Cade was so cute christmas morning. He was in our bed (of course), around 6:30 I got up to use the bathroom. Before I could leave Cade woke up to tell me I couldn't go, Santa might be there. He was so excited when I told him Santa had already been there and tried to wake up Daddy.

Off to PopPop and MomMoms for Christmas breakfast. The boys were excited to see more presents under the tree, but we're able to contain themselves till after we ate. MomMom asked Cade who got to open the first gift and he chose PopPop. And it was a whirlwind from there. A good one.

Fart guns. An uncle has never been more proud.

Radiator Springs, things couldn't get any better.

(Doesn't everyone have a hot dog on Christmas)

We are so blessed, it's so wonderful to see the joy on their faces and be able to spend time together.
We hope you had a Merry Christmas.
